Sponge partners with Axonify to bring world’s first Employee Knowledge Platform to the UK
Posted on Nov 08, 2016
NEWS: Sponge UK, a leading provider of custom-made workplace elearning solutions, announced today that it is complementing its corporate learning services with the Axonify Employee Knowledge Platform.
The platform uses advanced technologies to help improve business performance by ensuring employees build and retain their knowledge over time.
Traditionally, organisations have used training technologies that focus on tracking courses taken and passed. The consequence has been that employees forget what they learn and, therefore, can’t perform at their best - resulting in lost sales opportunities, inadequate customer service, increased safety incidents or other issues that have a negative impact on the bottom line.
With Axonify, organisations can take a more strategic approach to employee training to drive the business forward. The platform uses a combination of proven memory-building techniques, bite-sized learning sessions, adaptive training algorithms, gamified elements (including game play, leader boards and rewards), and knowledge-on-demand to provide employees with all the information they need in their heads and at their fingertips to be successful. All of the learning is tracked and measured to give leaders the insights they need to identify individual coaching opportunities, adjust content for additional clarity, and demonstrate the impact of training on defined business objectives.
Sponge UK’s Managing Director, Louise Pasterfield said:
“As the only official Axonify partner for the UK, we’re thrilled to bring this revolutionary approach to improving employee knowledge and performance to a new audience, building on its success in North America with leading organisations like Walmart, Toyota and Johnson and Johnson. Axonify is an intelligent platform that uses sound scientific principles and techniques like gamification to close the gap for organisations between what employees need to know to perform at their best and the time they have for learning.”
Carol Leaman, President and CEO of Axonify said:
“We are delighted to have Sponge UK represent Axonify in the UK market. Sponge’s commitment to helping organisations modernise corporate learning, combined with its extensive knowledge of the space makes the company an ideal partner for expanding Axonify’s reach throughout the UK.”
Sponge UK is incorporating the Axonify platform into its corporate learning services to complement and reinforce its award-winning elearning solutions.
“At Sponge, we’ve always recognised that making learning relevant, fun and continuous is the best way to engage employees, and Axonify has the same principles at its heart. Employees love Axonify because it’s enjoyable, helps them get better at their job and fits into their busy working lives. It’s achieving extremely high participation rates and making it easier for businesses to close knowledge gaps and improve performance.”
